Alejandro Schuvaks

Managing Partner

Alejandro founded ARGIS in Madrid during 2015 after twelve years of experience in investment funds. He was previously part of Viola Partners’ (Carmel Ventures, Viola PE) investment team, the largest Private Equity and Venture Capital fund in lsrael.

During 2013, he acquired Barugel Azulay, a leading company in luxury construction materials in Argentina, for US$18 million through a leveraged buyout (LBO).
Previously, he was a member of Pegasus –Merrill Lynch PREF I investment team where he analysed more than US$ 500 million in real estate deals in Argentina.

Alejandro has a degree in Business Economics and a Master in Finance, both from the Torcuato Di Tella University in Buenos Aires.

Carlos Zucchi

Managing Partner

Carlos joined ARGIS as Partner and CEO in 2020 after being an investor since 2015. He previously led Advent International’s Argentina office, one of the largest and most important private equity fund managers in the world. Previously he held leadership roles in various funds and investment funds for more than twelve years.

Carlos has executed investments in Latin America and the United States in a wide range of industries: real estate, electronic payments, consumption, retail, infrastructure and energy. He also served as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director for several portfolio companies. Carlos holds a degree in Business Economics from the Torcuato Di Tella University, a Master in Finance from the CEMA University and an MBA from the London Business School.

Antonio Joven

Antonio joined ARGIS in September 2020 in the Investments Department as Director of the Department.

Antonio began his professional career in the Real Estate sector within the Corporate Department of Lar España Real Estate, one of the largest listed real estate investment vehicles in Spain. Later he was part of Grupo Lar's Investment Department where he executed transactions for a volume of more than 600 million euros.

Years later, he joined as an associate at Squarepoint Capital Partners, an alternative real estate financing fund where he carried out business development, analysis and execution of transactions, closing several financing operations with top-level developers.

Antonio has a degree in Business Administration and Management and a Postgraduate Degree in Financial Consulting, both from the University of Zaragoza. In addition, he has a Master in Finance from CUNEF. He speaks Spanish and English.

Maximiliano Altschuller

Director

Maximiliano joined ARGIS as Director of Acquisitions in 2021. Prior to joining ARGIS, Maximiliano was an executive at Victoria Capital Partners, a leading Latin American private equity firm. Previously, he held several positions in M&A advisory at ABN AMRO and PENT Capital.

Maximiliano has experience in multiple transactions in Latin America, particularly in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Ecuador, in several industries such as agribusiness, retail, power & utilities, oil & gas, industrials, consumer and business services, among others. He has participated in the deployment of over US$400 million in private equity investments, and has advised on closed M&A transactions in excess of US$3.5 billion in value. He has also served in several executive committees of portfolio companies and held an executive position in one of VCP’s investments.

Maximiliano holds a degree in Economics and a Master in Finance, both from Torcuato Di Tella University in Buenos Aires.

Jose Antonio Menendez-Moran

Founder of the prestigious Menéndez-Morán Reverte studio, Jose Antonio specializes in building and residential urban planning, although he has also carried out public, commercial, industrial, tertiary and hotel architecture.

In the field of residential architecture, since its foundation in 1980, the studio has designed, and most importantly, built and completed, more than 11,500 homes in the Madrid community alone, of all types, from public housing to promotions of recent luxury, and many of them in buildings classified as BIC or lower degrees of protection.

Luis Ugarte

Luis focuses on the taxation of real estate investments, real estate funds, inbound real estate investors, M&A, and in pioneering transactions with institutional investors (SICAVs, SILs, FIIs, hedge funds) and SOCIMIs.

Founded U&R law firm to advise investors and investment sponsors with respect to tax-efficient investment structures, ongoing SOCIMIs qualification, M&A among others.

Luis has a Law degree from Universidad Pontificia Comillas and an LLM in Corporate Taxation from Instituto de Empresa. He also is a professor at the Tax Department of Universidad Complutense de Madrid

José Jiménez

Senior Analyst

José joined ARGIS in 2021 as Senior Analyst. He was previously an Analyst at real estate investment banking firm CG Capital Europe (formerly Carlton Group Europe), where he structured sale and financing transactions of various real estate assets typologies such as offices, retail, and logistics, among others. Prior to that, José worked at private equity firm Magnus Partners Search Fund, where he was responsible for identifying a unique investment target by performing industry, economic and financial analysis and developing investment ideas.

José studied at University of California San Diego (USA) and graduated from Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financieros (CUNEF) with a Bachelor in Business Administration (Madrid, Spain).

Hila Manor

Back Office Manager

Hila Manor has joined ARGIS as back office manager after being part of the finance operation team at Tarya, a leading P2P investment platform in Israel. She brings her experience in the financial department managing the operated company's trust account, supervising and examinating investors funds and their proceeds.

She holds an accounts manager, financial accounting and payroll certificates.

Tali Izardel

PA

Holds BA degree in English literature and MA degree in International Relationship.

My professional background is based on any years of experience in the administrative field. Recently I was also leading a role of Projects coordinator and chief of staff in many fields like Security, Public relations, Cyber, Computers and Communications companies.

I am marketing oriented and a team player in everything I do and I know how to work with internal and external interfaces, both locally and internationally.
