The fund, which is bolstering its presence in the Madrid alternative residential market and aims to reach 5,000 units in the Spanish market, has signed Javier Gómez Fernández as a company advisor.

Argis, a real estate company founded in Spain in 2015, is expanding its operations with the addition of Javier Gómez Fernández, co-founder of Aelca, as its new senior advisor. Supported by investors from Israel and Latin America, Argis aims to reach 5,000 units in the Spanish flexible housing market with a £300 million investment over two years.

Recently, Argis opened three new flexible housing buildings in Madrid, adding 50 units under the Flipco brand. With a total of six buildings and 200 units in the area, Flipco offers exclusive services such as access to a resident-only gym. Additionally, Argis acquired an asset in Retiro, Madrid, and land in Madrid Content City to build 360 new units.

Javier Gómez's arrival strengthens Argis' expertise in the sector. Co-founder of Aelca in 2021, he also played a role in founding Myjoja Inversiones. Currently, Gómez serves as CEO of Myjoja Inversiones and teaches in a real estate product management program.
